Reason is what defines us as human beings, refusing reason is to refuse your own humanity.?

I believe our ability to reason and to make inquiries is what makes us humans. Our curiosity is fueled by reason.

If at any point we choose to accept something, and forgo reason in this process we are violating everything that makes us human.

By accepting anything blindly, we are giving up our integrity and accepting a reality that is not our own, but one that has been fabricated by someone else.

I deny god, I deny jesus, I deny vishnu, I deny zeus, I deny superman, I deny the tooth fairy, I deny ignorance and I refuse to give up what makes me a human being. If I want the truth, I will search for it, not accept something blindly that is just an easy answer.

I am a Human Being, not a mindless automaton.

Reason is what defines us as human beings, refusing reason is to refuse your own humanity.?
Bravo. Well put.
Reply:wat is da question?
Reply:So you look for questions instead of answers? I agree that curiosity and questioning everything is part of our being and is what makes our lives interesting. But what do you think an "easy" answer is? Something that a man you have never met or seen wrote in a book hundreds of years ago and passed along as truth, you know say is an "easy" answer and you refuse to believe. But which book am I talking about? The bible or galileo's notes, or davinci's codes? Are you limiting yourself to answers only you find? Or do you not want any answers and are just going to ask questions all your life? At what point will you feel fulfilled? Since you didn't ask a question, I though I would.
Reply:Reason is the ability of the human mind to form concepts. We are bound to reason for sure. No matter if a human being is theist or atheist, both of them have to search for the truth in their belief. Without action from their side nothing will workout. Someone believes god as he realized the existence of god. If some one does not believe god let him/her realize his belief.
