Does your cat ever act like a human? If so, how?

My cat likes to watch tv, he likes wearing a t-shirt (this is a weird thing we do in Thailand - dress our animals, even cats), he also adores my 3 year old son and watches him constantly and sleeps next to him, lying on his back like a human with covers over him. Also, he tries to brush his teeth and he kept trying to take my toothbrush so I gave him his own, now he is happy!

Your question made me laugh! My cat actually thinks she's a person. She likes listening to music, but her favorite is babyface for some reason and she'll meow till I put it on. If something falls in her water dish, she doesn't like it and will come and get me to investigate. She gives me kisses and massages my temples when I have a headache. If I can't locate something, she'll help me look for it and will sit beside it if she finds it. She was fascinated with me having a necklace, so I put a little charm tag on her collar so we could be twins. If I take it off she gets very jealous and lays in her kitty bed and ignores me. When I put it back on, she prances around like a poster cat and is happy as a clam. I know this sounds bizarre, but she's very intuitive and I love her like you wouldn't believe. She brings me so much happiness and is deeply comforting!
Reply:he sleeps on his back, and the girl uses a pillow only to sleep.
Reply:One of my cats watches tv, too. But it seems like she knows what she's watching. She'll look away during commercials and sometimes during dramatic moments in the show she'll look over at us like "Did you see that?" Seems she's very smart.
Reply:It wasn't my cat, but the most human thing I saw a cat do was put his paw on the volume knob of a stereo when it was playing loud. That blew me away. I think he was telling us to turn it down. That was one smart cat.
Reply:When I was a child, my aunt had a doorbell set into a shelf outside the front door, and her cat learned to jump onto the shelf and ring the bell when he wanted to come in.

Very intelligent, fascinating creatures. My life has been greatly enhanced since babyhood by the wonderful cats it has been my priviledge to own.

"Pussychology" has been a lifelong interest for me.
Reply:Her eyes are intelligent as if she wants to say something
Reply:She sits like a human
Reply:Taylor my big ole tom that just passed last month had picked my husband as his human and spent most of the time in the MAN den at our home and the guys play poker a couple times a week and I swear to you Taylor had his own chair and he would join the guys at the table and it looked like he was playing !!Don't dare sit in his chair because he would jump on the the table and glare at the person and as soon as they moved he get back on the chair !!They retired his chair after he passed and left it at his spot because after 10 years of him joining in no one had the heart to take his place ! WE sure miss him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
