How do cavities eat up your teeth?

Cavities are like bacteria, bacteria poops like humans, their poop is acid, and this acid eats up your teeth.

did my mom tell me this to make me brush my teeth? or is it true?

How do cavities eat up your teeth?
i think its true about the bacteria part but if u eat tooooo much sugary stuff then u can get a cavitie. i always brush my teeth 2times a day and i floss once. u should do that it may take a while but a least ur teeth wont be hurting of u do get one
Reply:Cavities are basically a form of rot. Once it gets started, it tends to be progressive... So if you can prevent it from getting started (like by brushing %26amp; flossing your teeth) then you should be fine.
Reply:Sugar maked cavities. Brushing is good. I use tooth paste form the health food store.it is better
Reply:bacteria and saliva makes an acid that causes tooth decay. u must brush and floss if u want to keep ur teeth otherwise they will fall out of ur head.
Reply:The bacteria feed on sugar and carbohydrates. A waste product of their digestion (a sort of poop) eats through your teeth. Also leaving bits of food on your teeth when you don't brush is like leaving food in a bowl...it will go bad and rot....and more bacteria will grow. Your mom is trying to help you. You'll thank her one day. She has to brush too.
Reply:so true
