How do creationists explain the fact that humans are being born without: vermiform appendix, wisdom teeth,?

tonsils and coccyx? Did this perfect creator figure out that they were not needed? Why are the fifth toes becoming smaller? The obvious answer is that humans started wearing shoes and no longer need them for balance, but what is the religious explanation?

I was discussing the fact that people were being born without appendixes with a fundy para I have in my classroom. I thought it was extremely interesting, and since I was forced to part with my appendix at 14, I was feeling highly evolved. Anyway she said, "God wouldn't let you be born without anything you needed." I should have fired back with, " What about those babies who are born without a brain stem", but I had a room full of seventh graders who would have been heartbroken if we hadn't covered similes and metaphors that day. I've hope you've enjoyed my little ramble. :)

Did you know that your knee cap does not fully form until your 1 yrs of age...does this come from evolution?.....No it does not

I wish I hadn't had my wisdom teeth. Two are lodged near the joint of my jaw and I'm too chicken to get them out.
Reply:The scientific explanation is the religious explanation as far as it goes. There's How and there's Why and you're getting them confused.

Reply:Mineral deficiencies caused by sin, and poor farming methods are making life more fragile, and less healthy. This demonstrates that earth is wearing down, and if it had been wearing down for milliions of years, we would all be dead. According to evolutionists, things should be getting better.
Reply:Well, since I do not have lower wisdom teeth (I've seen x-rays of my skull), I know at least part of what you say is true. Since there is no INTELLIGENT reason to put more teeth in a mouth then can be accommodated by our jaws, it logically follows that we were NOT intelligently designed.





The Christians will or course say that wisdom teeth are part of the flaws that were introduced in mankind's fall from grace. Adam and Eve apparently never had to go to the dentist. Their teeth were acid proof!
Reply:Nothing to explain - these would be the result of a loss of genetic information. In other words, the type of evolution we observe all the time.





Speciation is not proof of evolution in the way you wish it was.


For an evolutionary mechanism to change a reptile into a bird there would have to be processes observed in true science to add new information into the genes (for example, information on how to make feathers). The changes observed with both natural selection and mutations are the opposite of those needed for evolution to work.

Reply:I am assuming you are trying to bring "evolution" into the picture. Once again, you don't seem to understand the difference between "evolution" and "natural selection". Natural selection is micro evolution within a species and no one is contesting that FACT.


So what is your point exactly?

I think you will be hard pressed to prove all people had wisdom teeth years ago or larger pinky toes.

Reply:just because some babies are being born without appendix and wisdom teeth does not mean that we were evolved. the entire idea of evolution is a depressing thought. the idea that we are mere accidents and that there is no real meaning in life? where is the hope? i praise the Lord that this life is not all there is. i am so thankful that the best is yet to come and that this world really isn't my home. i don't need facts to believe that God is the Creator of the world. just look at this creation, the beauty of it all-- how in the world could it be an accident?
Reply:How can you say something came out of nothing? Do you mean what is in the world now was just an accident? If this world is an accident, what the hell is the purpose of life?





Evolutionists say that we are improving, but we are becoming worse by the day because there is sin.


We can't even go over the life span that has been for us by God. How old is the oldest man recorded in modern times? 120 years. God said that "man's days are 120." Since the sin has been commited for the first time, living conditions have become worse and worse, and so there are defects/disease as part of sin. We have physical changes that occur because he did something, but we are still known as man, and we were never known as monkey, ape, or gorilla.
