Why do humans have 32 teeth and not 30 or 34?

Well, I think we can assume a need for an underlying symmetry, with the same number of teeth on top as on bottom. This means the total number of teeth would have to be a multiple of 4 which excludes both 30 and 34.

28 or 36 could be symmetrical possibilities, but 30 or 34 is simply out of the question. LOL

Why do humans have 32 teeth and not 30 or 34?
Some don%26#039;t have 32 teeth. Some have a couple Some have three and a half. Some have just one, and it points straight out.

But maybe I just notice these things because I live in the Appalachian Mountains...
Reply:Because 32 is just the right number to fit in your mouth.
Reply:Most people have a total of 32 permanent teeth however genetics can cause extra teeth to develop and erupt. The opposite can happen and a person may genetically be missing a one or more teeth.
Reply:r u looking for a philosophical answer or a medical one?

cuz either cuz god sed so, or cuz humans evolved tha way
Reply:because they have all of there wisdom teeth.
