If creation is false and evolution developed man then - why is the human jaw to small for our teeth?

you would think: if evolution made such complex organs like the heart, skin, or liver...how could it have messed up so badly on jaw size?

Do you realize that more and more often people are being born without wisdom teeth?





My daughter, for example, has none. She found this out when she was 16 (4 years ago). Her dentist told her that dentists are seeing this more and more often.





Evolution doesn%26#039;t happen over night. We just may find that in a few years, no one will be born with wisdom teeth. :)





By the way, our jaws used to be bigger. :)

think about what you are saying for a moment. how doesn%26#039;t it make more sense that random events in species made a mistake than something that is omnipotent? you admit that we are not made perfectly, yet your argument is still that we are too perfect to be made by chance. kind of crazy if you ask me.
Reply:If you know anything about evolution, you would know that it is an incremental process, things don%26#039;t just spontaneously come out perfectly, it%26#039;s all about trial and error. The gradual change in our physiology is not perfectly uniform.

Reply:Evolution depends on random mutations and natural selection. There is no guarantee that a mutation corresponding to a %26quot;perfect%26quot; jaw would enter the human gene pool.

If you are a theist, trying to promote your own religious


agenda, you are making yourself look foolish. Because


if your question is trying to show the false nature of


evolution, you fail, because the same thing can be said


of creation! As in:





If God created us, why did he make our jaws too small


for our teeth!!





This makes religion look a lot worse than evolution,


since God is supposed to be perfect, yet look


at all the imperfection he created!





If however, you are not a theist trying to promote


your religion, then your question is still


insanely stupid because right off the bat, not


everyone jaw is too small for their teeth.





Further, that supports evolution, since it shows


that organisms evolve through trial and error, and


since evolution is an adaptive, natural process,


it has natural flaws!





What would be the excuse for such flaws to be made


from a perfect being such as God??!

Why are we not perfect?





The fact is, we, just like our predecessors, are not perfect. We are a transitional phase in evolution. Just as our appendix, for example, serves no useful purpose, so does our jaw, which doesn%26#039;t have room for our wisdom teeth.





We are not perfect. It just so happens that we have very capable brains. That is our trait. Great white sharks have tremendous advantages over humans, as far as survival is concerned. But we use our brains to overcome those advantages. And your local Harris Teeter is a testament to that, when they sell shark steaks in their deli.





We are not perfect. We have flaws. But we have LESS flaws than our ancestors. And that%26#039;s what%26#039;s important.





By way of comparison, however, let%26#039;s say there%26#039;s a %26quot;creator%26quot;....





Why would this %26quot;creator%26quot; make our jaws too small? Is he just trying to uhm... **** with us?





This is the kind of situation where random chance is the victor. And as a matter of fact, even as an atheist, I don%26#039;t support the idea of %26quot;random chance%26quot;, But I most certainly don%26#039;t support the concept of a %26quot;creator%26quot; that just mistakenly made our jaws too small for our teeth....

Reply:It is still a continuous evolution. Before, during prehistoric eras, human have bigger jaws to have bigger chewing power. Because then, human ate on raw animal flesh. Then they started to learn cooking their food. With it, they don%26#039;t to chew as much as they chewed before on raw meat and vegetation. Eventually, they were using less jaw muscles to eat and the human body adjusted to such conditions as it slowly decreased the size of the jaw muscles and bones. Don%26#039;t worry, we will then also evolve to decrease either the count or the size of our teeth so it can fit the jaw.But if you%26#039;re such in a hurry, I can punch you in the jaw so you%26#039;ll lose some teeth and it can now fit your jaw. LOL. j/k
