Hamster's teeth ??

i recently saw my hamster%26#039;s teeth, they were some kind of brownish color. Is this the color their teeth should be? or is it white like humans, or his teeth are in need of a vet check up?

Hamster%26#039;s teeth ??
This is a very normal color for them. The only thing you need to keep watch on is the length of the teeth. If they are too long, they will begin to curve inward slightly and will need to be trimmed by the vet. Now it would be a bad idea to have a check up with your hamster to learn how long the teeth should be or just merely call and ask. I only had one hamster with teeth too long, but he was extremely ill and couldn%26#039;t eat any more and was about to be put down.
Reply:hamster have yellowish teeth...no need to worry. Just give him things to naw on to keep him happy
Reply:They are supposed to by white. ¿Does it have a little piece of wood in his cage? it is very important for hamsters to clean and sharpen them.
Reply:their teeth usually is a little brownish, I was worried when I first saw that too, but I looked in my Hamster book and in the pics where you see the teeth they are brown, so don%26#039;t worry ^_^
Reply:They are supposed to be a yellowish brownish....
Reply:Hamsters do have yellow teeth. You should probably buy a book for hamsters at the pet store it%26#039;s very helpful
Reply:Don%26#039;t worry! Hamsters have a yellowish tooth enamel. So the colouring is perfectly normal! as long as hes getting his dry hamster chow that should keep his teeth clean :)
