Can i use regular human toothpaste to brush my dogs teeth?
DO NOT USE HUMAN TOOTHPASTE FOR YOUR DOGS TEETH! IT IS SOOOOO BAD FOR THEM! They make special toothpaste for dogs. Buy that and don%26#039;t think twice. Don%26#039;t even try normal tooth paste. It is poison to them.

Reply:They make a toothpaste just for dogs, so why take the chance. It%26#039;s not that expensive.
Reply:You really shouldn%26#039;t use any human products on your dog just to be safe. They might swallow it and I know I don%26#039;t feel good if I swallow my toothpaste (we%26#039;ve all done it as children).. That%26#039;s why they make dog toothpaste. It doesn%26#039;t cost that much.

Reply:No, for one they shouldn%26#039;t use fluoride in a dogs mouth. They also shouldn%26#039;t be swallowing human toothpaste just like you and I shouldn%26#039;t and it would be hard to make them rinse! lol They make dog tooth paste in flavors they like and they can swallow it without harm.

Reply:Definitely not! There are special toothpastes for dogs that have enzymes in them to help clean their tough tartar. Besides that - it is usually flavored like chicken or something like that, which my dog loves! It%26#039;s hard enough to get her to be still while brushing her teeth - at least the flavor helps!
