The chief role(s) of the following in the human digestive process: mouth, oral cavity, tongue, and teeth.?

I can help with a few. In the mouth the breakdown of carbohydrates begins. Saliva contains the enzyme salivary amylase which begins this process. The teeth are important as they accomplish the initial mechanical breakdown of the food. The tongue helps with swallowing the chewed up food by forming and pushing it back.
