Excuse the vulgarity, but it is known that the human urine is efficient for the teeth, anyone?

I think the ammonium in urine (as part of the waste product urea) acts as a bleaching agent, but only because it softens and removes enamel. If you want something other than toothpaste, try carbon from burnt wood. It works well - apart from being carcinogenic that is - but like the urine, there%26#039;s always a trade-off.

I never heard that.
Reply:Human urine contains nothing that can be of use to the teeth.

It contains residual hormones, urea, excess salts.

And if you think those salts are good, then think again.

On second thoughts, why dont you try and tell us?
Reply:Yuuuuck, I never heard of that.
Reply:It depends on the vintage. :)
Reply:to level with you i have no idea but i doubt i%26#039;d ever find out either lol sounds minging anyway lol

have a nice xmas matey
Reply:It was discovered that urine really does bleach the teeth and later discovered that it quickly removes enamel.
Reply:Urine contains many waste products. Operative word is waste! Urea can be used to dissolve substance such as fingernails, toenails and teeth, but while it may temporarily whiten teeth, they will eventually yellow as the enamel is dissolved and the dentin begins to shine through. Try Brite-Smile instead
Reply:Efficient in what way? Are you attempting to phrase a question or are you making a statement?
Reply:I%26#039;ve heard that the Romans used it to clean their teeth, but I%26#039;ve never actually seen that confirmed, and I suspect it%26#039;s nothing but a rumour. Even if that is true, there%26#039;s no reason to use urine now that toothpaste has been invented.
