Archaeological find in panama?

Reply:Wouldn't surprise me... Human remains have been used for artistic creations for thousands of years. The early Christians used to save the cleansed bones of their deceased to create some pretty elaborate ornaments for chapels on the basis that their remains should be saved in some way for the Rapture. Lots of bones of saints have been preserved and are on display in Rome - every church seems to have at least one finger bone in a case shaped like a hand - or something like that. A necklace wouldn't surprise me, at all. The Nazis, on a more practical level, used human skin for lampshades and wallets, too. God knows what else they did...

As brutal as was life 40,000 years ago, wouldn't it be acceptable for the, say, skull of your worst enemy, or of your best warrior or clan-leader, be honored or dishonored in some way?
